Andy Knutson and Tony Savarese have joined forces to better serve their clientele. Their combined expertise covers over 40 years of experience.
Andy entered the securities business in 1992, after a 22-year career as a Naval Officer. He has been with AIG Advisors Group since 1994, is the Branch Manager of an AIG La Mesa office, and is a corporate Registered Investment Advisor. Andy completed the academic curriculum for CFP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership. He specializes in portfolio management, emphasizing risk management while employing various quantitative tools to assess portfolio, sector, and individual equity risk for stock, bond, mutual fund and annuity portfolios. His practice is focused on the three phases of the investor’s life planning, i.e., wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, and wealth distribution.
Tony spent his formative years in Europe, attending some Grade School, High School and University in a variety of countries before receiving his Master’s Degree in International Management from Thunderbird in GlendaleArizona. Shortly thereafter (1977), he began his career in the Financial Services Industry as one of the youngest brokers in the CoachellaValley. Professional designations and accolades include: General Securities License, Multi-state License, Registered Options Principal, Registered Principal, Investment Advisory and California Insurance Licenses… Kemper Prostar – Platinum Level, Freedom Club, Liberty Club, Nuveen Advisory Council.
